teorema de Pitágoras

Pythagorean theorem

Pythagorean theorem — in a right triangle, the two legs a and b and the hypotenuse c always fit a^2 + b^2 = c^2.

A right triangle with legs 9 cm and 12 cm has hypotenuse \sqrt{81 + 144} = \sqrt{225} = 15 cm.
