la misma recta (rectas coincidentes)

same line (coinciding lines)

dos ecuaciones que describen la misma recta, con la misma pendiente y la misma intersección con el eje y; como sistema, tienen infinitas soluciones.

Ejemplo

y = 2x + 1 y 2y = 4x + 2 son la misma recta.

En inglés

same line (coinciding lines) — two equations that describe the same line, with the same slope and the same y-intercept; as a system, they have infinitely many solutions.

y = 2x + 1 and 2y = 4x + 2 are the same line.
