This practice test simulates the real GED® Mathematical Reasoning test. It is one of the more challenging practice tests in the set.
- 46 questions, 115 minutes. The timer runs for the whole test.
- Part 1 — Questions 1–5: no calculator. Work these by hand. Once you move on to Part 2 you cannot return to Part 1.
- Part 2 — Questions 6–46: calculator allowed. Use the on-screen TI-30XS MultiView calculator and the formula sheet at any time.
- Question types include multiple choice, fill-in-the-blank, drop-down, drag-and-drop and hot spot (click on a graph or figure).
- There is no penalty for guessing — answer every question.
- Use Flag for review to mark questions you want to revisit, then check them on the review screen before time runs out (Part 2 only).
- Pace yourself: about 2½ minutes per question. If a question takes too long, make your best guess, flag it, and move on.
You will see your score, an estimated GED score and a full explanation for every question at the end.
The timer keeps running if you leave the page, just like on the real test.
