About GED Free
GED Free is a free site to prepare for the GED test, in English and Spanish. You don't need an account: your progress is saved only in your browser.
What you'll find
- 122 lessons across the four GED subjects (Mathematical Reasoning, Reasoning Through Language Arts, Science and Social Studies), with worked examples.
- 5,202 practice questions with explanations, in all seven question types of the real test.
- 74 timed practice tests, including full-length tests with the real time limits.
- A glossary of 1,182 terms, the Math formula sheet and flashcards.
How the content is made
The GED Free Editorial Team writes the lessons and questions around the subjects and content areas described by GED Testing Service. An automatic check tests every question: that it displays correctly and that its correct answer is graded as correct. Scores on our practice tests are an estimate, not an official GED score.
Sources
Facts about the test (subjects, question types, timing and the passing score) come from GED Testing Service's official information: GED test subjects and GED Ready, the official practice test.
